‘balades@poissy’ is a mobile phone application with tourist routes which allow you to discover Poissy. From now on, your smartphone is your guide. The app, with geolocation functionality, offers points of interest as well as deals you can find along the routes and their surrounding areas (leisure activities, artisan creations, businesses, events, etc.). The voice guidance and the GPS offer extra information as you go along.
The app is completely free. The routes are downloadable in advance and can therefore be used in ‘airplane mode’ to avoid any signal problems. A record of these routes is also accessible and allows you to view information such as the time taken and even the calories burnt.
So, tie your laces or jump on your bike and explore Poissy like you’d never have thought possible. You’ll be surprised by the secrets this town has to offer.
